Aeolian Islands / Coast of Dei / Tropea
A volcanic archipelago in the heart of the Tyrrhenian Sea, the Aeolian Islands consist of seven major islands off Sicily’s coast. A UNESCO World Heritage site since 2000, they are celebrated for their unparalleled geological significance and breathtaking landscapes
Day 1
Welcome
Boarding will take place in Tropea. During our "Welcome" session, we will provide a brief orientation regarding the yacht, onboard safety, and the planned cruising itinerary. Additionally, we will introduce the crew and the safety equipment.
Day 2
Stromboli e Sciara del Fuoco
We set sail for Stromboli, one of the most active volcanoes in the world—an island that embodies the raw power of nature. By day, you can relax on the black sand beaches of Forgia Vecchia or San Lorenzo, or dive into the deep cobalt-blue waters surrounding Strombolicchio. At dusk, you can witness the extraordinary spectacle of the Sciara del Fuoco.
Day 3
Panarea
Day three: setting course for Panarea.
Discovering Panarea, both by sea and by land, is an unforgettable experience. Although the island lacks a commercial marina, it offers numerous picturesque anchorages and a well-organized buoy field. You can immerse yourself in the crystal-clear, sandy waters of Baia Milazzese, Cala Zimmari, Basiluzzo, or Cala Junco, and snorkel among the underwater geysers of Lisca Nera and Lisca Bianca. Ashore, the village of San Pietro invites you to stroll through elegant boutiques and charming corners. As evening falls, Panarea comes to life: enjoy a cocktail at Bridge or the world-renowned Raya, or simply savor a granita on a terrace overlooking Dattilo. A dinner on one of the island’s panoramic terraces, enjoying fresh seafood under the stars, leaves magnificent memories.
Day 4
Salina
Breakfast and navigation towards Salina, a tranquil retreat with its picturesque harbor that captures the very essence of the Aeolian grace. Thanks to its central position in the archipelago, it is often a mid-week or weekend stop—a perfect pause between adventure and relaxation. The stunning Pollara Bay, nestled within an ancient volcanic crater, offers unforgettable views with its high cliffs and crystal-clear waters. In Salina, you can dock in the harbor and go ashore to stroll through the colorful streets of Santa Marina di Salina, or reach Lingua to taste the famous pane cunzato and Alfredo’s legendary granita. Alternatively, you can remain at anchor off Lingua and reach the shore by tender. For wine lovers, a stop at the Hauner winery is an exceptional experience to taste excellent Aeolian wines with a view over the vineyards and the sea.
Day 5
Lipari
Another stop on our cruise is Lipari, the largest and most vibrant of the islands, seamlessly blending energy, history, and natural beauty. Its coastline is a spectacle of colors: from the deep blue of Canneto to the turquoise of Valle Muria and the majestic Faraglioni sea stacks. Usually visited mid-week, it represents the ideal stop to replenish water and electricity or to restock the galley with fresh fish and local delicacies. A night in the harbor ensures maximum comfort on board and an evening of freedom without the constraint of return schedules. Once docked, the island invites you to explore its most authentic corners: the promenades of Marina Corta and Marina Lunga, the historic center, and local artisanal shops. The evening offers endless possibilities: a panoramic aperitivo or dinner on the hillside with views over Vulcano, or a more vibrant atmosphere in the lively bars of Marina Corta.
Day 6
Filicudi & Alicudi
Cruising towards Filicudi, an island that embodies the bohemian soul of the Aeolians: wild, elegant, and authentic.
We sail toward La Canna, an imposing seventy-meter-high basalt sea stack that rises from the sea like a natural sculpture—the perfect spot for a spectacular swim.
The crystal-clear waters of Capo Graziano also offer a paradise for those who love snorkeling and relaxation. At anchor or at the mooring buoy facing the village of Pecorini a Mare, you can head ashore, where Filicudi reveals its truest simplicity: you can walk barefoot, relax on colorful rugs, and dine outdoors in an olive grove with views of Alicudi and La Canna turning gold at sunset. Alternatively, enjoy a seafood dinner at La Sirena or, for sushi lovers, a gourmet experience at Filicudi, where Mediterranean flavors meet the Far East.
Day 7
Vulcano
Last but certainly not least: Vulcano, with its spectacular cliffs and striking contrasts between land and sea, reveals its full beauty from the water. The coastline offers breathtaking views: from the white lighthouse of Gelso, where luminous waters of turquoise and emerald blend with the horizon. As it is not always possible to visit all seven islands in a single week, the itinerary varies based on weather conditions and the pace of navigation. Vulcano is often admired from the sea as a scenic stop, offering tranquil anchorages at Baia Levante and Baia Ponente—a perfect balance between adventure and relaxation.
Day 8
Return
Return to Tropea for one final evening to share the memories of an unforgettable journey under the stars.
